How to Remove a Broken Headphone Plug From a Jack

In many electronics, a headphone plug that's stuck in the jack can prevent you from hearing any sound from these devices. There are many different tricks you should use to get rid of the broken plug from the jack and never have to just take your device into be serviced or replaced.

Grasp any remaining the main plug that extends beyond the jack with needle-nose pliers. Rotate the broken plug as you pull it out. Apply a tiny bit of super-glue to the end of a toothpick and vigilantly insert it to the hollow the main plug. Permit the glue to dry for at the very least 5 minutes. Pull the plug from the jack. Take care not to apply the glue to the outside the plug or the rim of the jack. Insert the drill bit to the opening at the rear of the jack. Rotate the bit clockwise as you pull outward. The edge of the bit will catch on lip of the jack and any remaining wire left inside.
